Floyd Mayweather says he has no problem with wearing 10 ounce gloves in his fight with Miguel Cotto on May 5.
'Money' had requested the smaller 8oz gloves as he believes they encourage more excitement for fans.
The unbeaten light-middleweight was forced to wear the bigger gloves against Oscar De La Hoya in 2007, which he believes resulted in a sub-par performance and a disappointing fight.
"My last fight with 10oz gloves was Ricky Hatton," he said. "It's not really a problem - when I faced De La Hoya they gave me heavyweight gloves.
"I feel that if me and De La Hoya would have fought in normal 10oz gloves there would have been more blood and excitement.
"But I can be fast in whatever gloves I wear."
