Boxing promoter Barry Hearn has called on the sport's authorities to block any attempts to stage a fight between David Haye and Dereck Chisora in England.
Hearn wants the British Boxing Board of Control to prevent the fighters from facing each other in the ring after their much-publicised brawl brought the sport into disrepute.
Haye is currently retired and Chisora had his licence suspended by the BBBoC after the pair clashed at the press conference following Chisora's defeat to Vitali Klitschko in Munich in February, in scenes which subsequently became the subject of a police investigation in Germany.
There has been speculation promoter Frank Warren will use a press conference on Tuesday to announce Haye and Chisora will meet in the ring.
There is nothing to stop such a fight being staged in this country if it is licensed by the boxing authorities of another European country.
But Hearn wants the board here to take action against anyone involved in such a fight.
Hearn told Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek programme: "It sounds as if it is true and it's going to pose a real big problem for the British Boxing Board of Control.
"The ruling should go out to the promoters that should they get involved in that fight they will no longer be allowed to operate within the rules of the British Boxing Board of Control.
"We really can't encourage and condone the behaviour of those two fighters by allowing them to come to England and make a lot of money.
"I'm looking to the British Boxing Board of Control to exercise the authority they have.
"Who knows (if the fight will happen) but at the end of the day perhaps the power of the pound note speaks."
Warren, who has called a press conference for Tuesday to make what is described as a major announcement, last week suggested a fight between Haye and Chisora could be on the cards.
He said: "It's a natural fight, it doesn't matter what anyone says. It's a bigger fight than either of them fighting Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko."
Chisora, whose appeal against his suspension set to be heard on May 14, is keen to resume his career.
He said: "I'm not banned - I'm not fit enough to hold a licence. Banned means you've been banned. But when you're not fit enough that means you're not fit.
"I'm a boxer, I'm a fighter. I love fighting. Someone takes something you love, how are you gonna survive and progress in your life? I wanna fight again."
Asked if he wanted to fight Haye in particular, he said: "I want to fight everybody."
