Audley Harrison won his comeback fight against Ali Adams with a fourth-round stoppage.
The former Olympic champion, now 40, defeated his 30-year-old opponent in four rounds at the Brentwood Centre in Essex in his first fight since his one-sided defeat to WBA heavyweight title David Haye in November 2010.
Harrison sent his opponent to the canvas with a right hand and although the Chelsea-based Iraqi managed to get to his feet, a flurry of follow-up shots from Harrison prompted the referee to step in and end the contest.
Adams had boasted that he would end his opponent's career by knocking him out in round four but Harrison wrote on Twitter after his success: "I'm back. Poetic justice to end it four after he said I would be on the floor. No hard feelings though and I wish him all the best."
