Brendon McCullum: Hit a rapid 56

Kolkata Knight Riders moved to the top of the Indian Premier League table with a six-wicket win over previous leaders Delhi Daredevils.

Delhi won the toss and made 153 for nine, which was never enough as the visitors eased to victory with eight balls to spare.

Irfan Pathan top-scored for the home side with 36 from 22 balls, including four fours and a six.

Virender Sehwag had smashed a typically unrestrained 23 from nine balls and Mahela Jayawardene made 30 but Jacques Kallis (two for 20) and Sunil Narine (two for 23) kept the Daredevils in check.

Knight Riders openers Brendon McCullum and Gautam Gambhir put on 68 in seven overs before the latter fell for 36, from 21 balls with four fours and a six.

McCullum (56) and Kallis (30) put on 60 before both fell with the score on 128, but Yusuf Pathan saw Kolkata over the line.
