Robbie Joseph: Staying with Leicestershire for rest of the season

Leicestershire pace bowler Robbie Joseph will stay at Grace Road until at least the end of the season after agreeing a new deal with the club.

The 30-year-old seamer, who parted company with Kent last November, has been rewarded for his impressive form after originally penning a short-term deal with the Foxes.

Joseph has claimed 17 wickets in the LV= County Championship - including 12-111 on debut in the win over Glamorgan - and Leicestershire have spoken of their delight at securing his services for the rest of the summer.

Leicestershire chief executive Mike Siddall said: "We are all really pleased that Robbie has agreed to stay with us as he's had an excellent start to the season."
