Paolo Di Canio: Has a fully-fit squad at his disposal

Paolo Di Canio: Has a fully-fit squad at his disposal

Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio is set to choose from a fully-fit squad as he looks to guide his team to the npower League Two title with victory over Port Vale.

Di Canio dropped four players - goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, defender Joe Devera and midfielders Lee Cox and Luke Rooney - from his first-team squad for the trip to Gillingham last week after he discovered the quartet had not admitted to their involvement in a recent night out with other team-mates.

However, the Italian revealed this week that the matter has been resolved and all four will come into consideration for a place in the matchday squad for the visit of Vale to the County Ground.

Striker Paul Benson was not risked last week due to a slight hamstring problem but is available once again to Di Canio, while winger Matt Ritchie showed no ill effects after his first game in three weeks at the Priestfield Stadium.

It remains to be seen whether Stuart Tomlinson will return to the Port Vale squad at the County Ground.

Tomlinson was taken ill ahead of the re-arranged game at Shrewsbury 10 days ago so Chris Martin received a late call-up. Tomlinson remained absent against Bristol Rovers last weekend so Martin kept his place in goal.

Should Tomlinson return, manager Micky Adams may still decide to stick with Martin after hinting that he could give his fringe players and the club's youngsters a chance in the remaining two matches this season.

Rob Taylor made his first appearance for just over a month as a substitute during the 1-0 home win over Rovers and the winger-cum-full-back could be involved again.

Midfielders Paul Marshall, Sam Morsy and Kingsley James and striker Ben Williamson are options for Adams should he wish to make any changes but defender Clayton McDonald (hamstring) remains a doubt.
