Simon Ford: Concern due to a cut above his eye

Defenders Liam Ridehalgh and Simon Ford are concerns for Chesterfield ahead of another must-win match at Yeovil.

Full-back Ridehalgh was struggling with a knock towards the end of the 2-1 home victory over Rochdale last weekend.

Ford was forced off in the same game after 33 minutes with a cut above his eye but manager John Sheridan is hopeful the centre-half will be ok.

Midfielder Danny Whitaker, scorer of crucial goals from the bench in the last two matches, is a hot tip to start.

Defender Neal Trotman (knee) and veteran striker Jack Lester (groin) remain on the sidelines.

Chesterfield face a fourth straight game knowing that anything but a victory will see them relegated. However, a win on Saturday may also not be enough to prevent an immediate return to npower League Two if results elsewhere go against them.

Yeovil will be without suspended duo Michael Woods and Ed Upson.

Woods was sent off after 33 minutes of the Glovers' 6-0 home humiliation by Stevenage on April 14 for a rash tackle on Boro's Michael Bostwick and serves the second match of the a three-game ban.

Upson, meanwhile, sits out the final game of his three-match suspension having accrued 15 yellow cards over the course of the campaign.

Otherwise, manager Gary Johnson has a fully-fit squad to choose from. Yeovil secured their League One safety with a 2-2 draw at Leyton Orient last time out but could send Chesterfield down to League Two with either a draw or a win at Huish Park.
