James McPake: Could miss out again

James McPake: Could miss out again

Captain James McPake could join suspended striker Leigh Griffiths in missing Hibernian's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Dunfermline on Monday.

Defender McPake (groin) was absent for the win at Aberdeen and could again be missing for the fixture which could see Hibs' survive at the Pars' expense.

Midfielder Lewis Stevenson is available again following suspension, but Griffiths is out along with midfielder David Wotherspoon (suspended), while Tom Soares (Achilles) is a doubt and his fellow winger Danny Galbraith (groin) is out.

Defender Alex Keddie is suspended for Dunfermline.

Mark Kerr should be fit despite suffering a knock in the 0-0 draw at Inverness which means the Pars enter the Hibs fixture with a five-point deficit to make up in two games.

Paul Burns, Steven Bell, Kevin Rutkiewicz and Paul Gallacher are out.
