Striker Craig Beattie is again set to miss out as Hearts take on St Johnstone in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Sunday.
Beattie missed the midweek loss to Motherwell with a hamstring strain which could yet hamper his involvement in the William Hill Scottish Cup final on May 19.
Ian Black continues to nurse a hernia which is set to require surgery come the end of the season, when the midfielder is poised to leave the club, while Adrian Mrowiec (knee) has returned to training. Jamie Hamill (knee) is out.
Chris Millar is a doubt for St Johnstone.
The Saints midfielder had to come off in the first-half of the 1-0 defeat by Celtic at Parkhead last night with a recurrence of a groin injury and he will be assessed, as will defender Frazer Wright who has a knock.
Striker Fransciso Sandaza is suspended, midfielder Lee Croft is still out with a hamstring injury, and Dave Mackay is likely to be missing again due to a family issue while on-loan Celtic forward James Keatings returns after being sidelined for the game against his parent club.
