Trapattoni: Shows his hand for Croatia game

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named a full-strength side for Monday night's friendly against Hungary.

The match comes less than a week before the Republic's Euro 2012 campaign gets under way.

Goalkeeper Shay Given and defender John O'Shea will start after recovering from knee and ankle injuries respectively.

With Trapattoni confirming the same side is 90 per cent certain to start against Croatia in Poznan next Sunday night, the Italian has shown his hand earlier than expected.

Kevin Doyle has won the fight to partner skipper Robbie Keane in attack.

Ireland team to face Hungary: Given, O'Shea, Dunne, St Ledger, Ward, Duff, Andrews, Whelan, McGeady, Keane, Doyle.
