Nice edged a point closer to safety by holding Europe-chasing Toulouse to a goalless draw in Ligue 1.
The visitors struck the bar and Toulouse a post in the first half, but neither side could make the breakthrough.
The draw left Nice three points above the bottom three with two games to go, while Toulouse dropped a place to eighth.
Struggling Nice came into the game on the back of two defeats, but they started well, with Luciano Monzon testing goalkeeper Ali Ahamada before Kafoumba Coulibaly smashed a volley from the edge of the area against a post.
The home side withstood the early pressure and grew into the match, though.
Aymen Abdennour had a long-range shot blocked by keeper David Ospina, who then had the bar to thank for keeping out a fierce Adrien Regattin strike.
Antoine Devaux was next to test Ospina, but the keeper was equal to his shot.
Ahamada had to be alert early in the second half to keep out a header from Franck Dja Djedje, and the keepers continued to have the upper hand with Ospina keeping out a Devaux header.
Both sides looked to win it late on and Esmael Goncalves sent Lloyd Palun clear for Nice, but Ahamada came out on top in the one-on-one situation.
At the other end Ben Yedder teed up Emmanuel Riviere in the centre of the area, but his shot was weak and could not beat Ospina as it ended honours even.
