Emile Sinclair: Double for Northampton

Emile Sinclair: Double for Northampton

A review of Tuesday night's action in Sky Bet League 2, including wins for Northampton and Bristol Rovers.

Basement side Northampton claimed a 2-1 win over fellow Sky Bet League Two strugglers Torquay on Tuesday night.

Emile Sinclair's first-half double was enough to claim victory for the Cobblers in spite of Krystian Pearce's reply, although Northampton remained bottom of the pile following the result, three points behind second-bottom Torquay.

John-Joe O'Toole scored the only goal as Bristol Rovers defeated Cheltenham 1-0 while Wycombe had to settle for 1-1 at home against Fleetwood after the visitors' Jon Parkin cancelled out Stuart Lewis' first-half strike.
