O'Brien: Strong team for Classics

Aidan O'Brien is all set to send a powerful team for the Classics at Newmarket in two weeks' time.

The Ballydoyle trainer reports ante-post favourite Camelot, the Racing Post Trophy winner, and National Stakes scorer Power to be on course for the Qipco 2000 Guineas on May 5.

O'Brien also provides the market leader for the Qipco 1000 Guineas in Maybe a day later. However, the Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine will not be her trainer's only runner in the fillies' showpiece.

"Camelot and Power are both working towards the Guineas," he said.

"Obviously Maybe is our main one at the moment (for the 1000), but we will run a few more fillies in the 1000 Guineas."

O'Brien has a total of 10 fillies left in the 1000, including Rockfel Stakes winner Wading, who is also prominent in the betting.

Coral have cut Camelot to 7-4 (from 2-1) favourite for the Guineas, with Ladbrokes even money from 6-4.
