St Nicholas Abbey is among a field of 12 confirmations for the High Chaparral EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh on Monday.
Last season's Breeders' Cup Turf hero could have his first run of the year in Europe after finishing second to Cirrus Des Aigles in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March.
The five-year-old's trainer Aidan O'Brien has also accepted with Memphis Tennessee, who has not run since finishing third in the Irish Derby, Robin Hood and Windsor Palace.
Dermot Weld can choose from eight times Group Three winner Famous Name and the versatile mare Unaccompanied.
The latter is, however, likely to wait for the Saval Beg Stakes at Leopardstown.
"I don't know about the Mooresbridge. She might be going for the Saval Beg over a mile and six later on," said Stan Cosgrove, managing director for owners Moyglare Stud.
"She only won on Sunday at Navan, but she's in great order."
A strong list of possibles is completed by Bob Le Beau, Chrysanthemum, Elusive Ridge, Negotiate, Parkers Mill and Sharestan.
