Timeform have awarded Camelot a rating of 123p for winning the QIPCO 2000 Guineas, the lowest rating for the winner of the first British Classic in the last five years.
The rating is significantly lower than the 142p awarded to Frankel when he ran away with the 2000 Guineas last year.
Timeform's Flat Editor David Johnson said: "The field failed to get strung out, for all the first two managed to pull clear, and it's a race as a whole to take a fairly low view of."
Camelot has hardened as favourite for the Investec Derby and currently heads the Timeform ratings for that race ahead of Parish Hall (117) and Imperial Monarch (116p), although other contenders are sure to emerge from the upcoming trials.
