Michael Bell: Runs Allied Powers

Michael Bell: Runs Allied Powers

Allied Powers has to give weight to all seven rivals as he attempts to win the Prix d'Hedouville for a second time at Longchamp on Tuesday.

The Michael Bell-trained seven-year-old took this Group Three prize in 2010, and returns to Paris on the back of finishing second to Harris Tweed in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Stakes, registered as the John Porter Stakes, at Newbury last month.

"He won the race back in 2010 and after a good second at Newbury last time he should hopefully be spot on for the race," he told www.michaelbellracing.com.

"He will be reunited with Ioritz Mendizabel who gets on well with the horse and hopefully we will get a repeat of the 2010 result."

Among the opposition are Andre Fabre's recent Saint-Cloud winner Dance Moves, the Carlos Laffon-Parais-trained course-and-distance winner Solemia and Mikel Dalzangles' promising filly Molly Malone.
