There's a couple of punts at Southwell

Pearl Noir 7/2 from 11/2 - 2.15 Southwell

This could be a decent enough race on paper with 5 interesting 2 year olds taking to the Fibresand. Pearl Bloodstock have the current favourite who rarely get hold of types without considerable potential but there's is weak in the market so far. All the money has been for the Paul Dixon-owned horse who scored with his only other 2 year old runner this year.

Klynch 3/1 from 9/2 - 7.10 Catterick

A good two-year-old a few years back before really struggling to find some form. Last year was better and got the hang of winning. Today's handicap mark offers hope that he can oblige again although there is a slight worry about the final furlong here with all his best form being at 6f. Ruth Carr is in decent nick however so he should go very well.

Trachonitis 11/2 from 13/2 - 2.45 Southwell.

Can be a tricky horse at the end of a race but usually travels well enough to look very dangerous. Kingaroo looks sure to go hard in front so the race should be run to suit and Shane Kelly is often booked to cajole along these bridle types. Today could be the day with the yard going well.
