Nahrain: No concrete plans

Nahrain: No concrete plans

Trainer Roger Varian has yet to finalise a comeback plan for his star filly Nahrain.

The three-year-old enjoyed a fantastic season in 2011, completing a four-timer in the Group One Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp.

She suffered defeat for the first time when narrowly beaten in the Breeders' Cup Filly And Mare Turf, but another exciting season looks in store.

"We haven't made any concrete plan for her yet, but she's fine and working away nicely," said Varian.

"We are conscious that the important fillies' races are in the second half of the season, so we've not been in any rush with her.

"She'll probably start off somewhere in the next few weeks, but quite where that will be, I'm not sure at this stage."
