Danedream: A winning return
Danedream made a winning start to the campaign when landing the Grosser Preis Der Badischen Unternehmer at Baden-Baden.
Last year's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe heroine, trained by Peter Schiergen and ridden by Andrasch Starke, got back on the winning path after being beaten in the Japan Cup on her final start of 2011.
Danedream took over early in the straight and having looked in no danger she began to tire inside the final furlong.
The closers were gaining with every stride but Danedream had enough in hand to hold on for a comfortable success.
She took the Group Two contest from Ovambo Queen in second place with stablemate Silvaner third.
