Marco Botti: Booked Joseph O'Brien

Marco Botti: Booked Joseph O'Brien

Marco Botti has booked Joseph O'Brien for Law Of The Range in the TRI Equestrian Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.

The five-year-old mare enjoyed a great campaign last season, winning three on the bounce, including a Listed race at Pontefract.

She returned this time around with a good run at Kempton, when denied by the narrowest of margins in the Snowdrop Stakes, but put up a rare bad run last time out at Newmarket in the Dahlia Stakes.

Botti said: "The field has cut up a bit, but it still looks a good race.

"She's in good order, but the Newmarket race just didn't pan out for her last time - they went no pace.

"The ground was also slower than she likes, it was a bit tacky.

"She'll be back over her best trip of a mile and Joseph O'Brien will ride her. I'm expecting her to run well."
