Freddie Tylicki: Suffered ankle sprain in fall

Jockey Freddie Tylicki could be out of action for up to a week after spraining an ankle at Ripon on Wednesday evening.

Tylicki was unshipped by the James Given-trained Taffe, who was subsequently withdrawn from the Wells Memorial Challenge Trophy.

The rider's agent, Richard Hale, said: "His ankle is not busted or anything like that, it's just sprained.

"He'll obviously have to wait for the swelling to go down, but he shouldn't be out for too long - possibly a week."
