Investec Derby also-ran Minimise Risk takes a significant step up in distance for the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot on Friday.
Andrew Balding's Galileo colt was a 66-1 outsider for the Epsom Classic, but was not disgraced in finishing seventh of the nine runners.
The three-year-old steps up to two miles for this Group Three contest and Balding is confident of a big run if conditions are not too testing.
"He came out of the Derby amazingly well. He seems to have an incredible appetite for racing - he seems to thrive on it," said the Kingsclere trainer.
"His pedigree and the way he runs suggests the trip shouldn't be a problem for him and we're obviously very hopeful.
"The only worry would be the rain as he is a horse who seems most effective on better ground."
The Charlie Hills-trained Perennial had Derby aspirations at one stage of his career, but he disappointed on his seasonal reappearance in the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket.
He ran a little better when third in the Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood last time.
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah, is keen to find out how he fares over this extreme distance.
He said: "It is a big step up in trip for him but I think you either stay two miles as a three-year-old or you don't.
"Charles Hills thinks he will stay and there is plenty of stamina on both sides of his pedigree.
"He will take his chance and we will see how he goes."
Rae Guest is very keen on the chances of Ed De Gas, who won his first three starts before finishing seventh in the Lingfield Derby Trial.
"He's in good form and if he stays I think he'll win," said Guest.
"The ground won't be any problem for him at all as he won in soft ground at Catterick and I'm very hopeful of a big run.
"The track didn't really suit him at Lingfield. He prefers a more galloping track and the twice he won on the all-weather he didn't really get going until the home straight.
"You can't afford to do that against good horses like he ran against at Lingfield and I'm looking forward to getting him back on the grass on a track that should suit.
"The way he races suggests he should stay the two miles, but none of them have done it before and it's a test for them all."
Spanish Wedding has over 20lb to find with the highest-rated horse in the field, but trainer Marco Botti is hopeful the ramp in distance will yield significant improvement.
He said: "On the ratings he has a bit to find, but I think he can progress going a little bit further.
"He won nicely at Goodwood last time over a mile and a half and the blinkers seemed to helped him to focus on his job.
"The only worry I have is the ground as he wouldn't want it too soft."
Brian Meehan's Yazdi finished an encouraging third on debut at Newmarket before running away with a Thirsk maiden.
A statement posted on www.brianmeehan.co.uk read: "Easy winner over a mile and a half on the soft on only his second start, this son of Galileo should have no problems with the ground.
"He has decent prospects of getting this extra half mile, albeit in much higher grade."
