Richard Hannon has won the Weatherbys Super Sprint on no fewer than seven occasions since the contest's inception in 1991 and the Herridge handler is again well represented in the 2012 renewal.
Hannon is responsible for six of the remaining 50 entries at the six-day stage with Gimcrack entry Rhamnus arguably foremost amongst them for the Newbury heat.
With a valuable prize on offer, he is not alone in having plenty of options for the five furlong dash and Kevin Ryan, who has gone close in each of the last two renewals, has a team of eight candidates with Royal Ascot winner Hototo possibly his best chance of scooping the pot.
Liber wasn't beaten far by Hototo in the Windsor Castle and could reoppose as could the fourth and ninth home from that contest, Bungleinthejungle and Pay Freeze, who are both trained by Mick Channon.
