Bryan Smart has yet to decide on future plans for Foxtrot Romeo, who has mixed it with the best of his generation over a mile in his two starts this season.
The three-year-old colt made a belated return to action with a tremendous effort to finish runner-up to Power in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.
And he followed up with another creditable display to take sixth place behind Most Improved in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
"He's in good form and we'll just wait and see," said the North Yorkshire trainer.
"I'm really pleased with him. I haven't got a target for him yet."
