Luke Morris is hoping Clinical can bounce back from a below-par run at Royal Ascot when she steps up to Group One company in the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on Friday.
Sir Mark Prescott's charge won the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Epsom on her reappearance, beating Joviality, but was only tenth behind the same filly in the Windsor Forest Stakes last time.
Morris was in the saddle for both races and he told At The Races: "She never really found her rhythm at Ascot and didn't run her race, but if she falls back to the form of her Epsom win then I'd be hopeful of a nice run.
"She beat the likes of Joviality and Barefoot Lady and had some decent horses behind her. Obviously Golden Lilac looks the real hotpot in the race."
