Mark Johnston enjoyed a remarkable Saturday with winners across four courses during the course of the afternoon.

The Middleham-based handler sent out winners at Ascot, Newmarket and York in Britain and added to those successes when Discernable scored in France.

The two year old daughter of Elusive Quality was running at Deauville on the first day of the course's famous summer meeting in the Prix Six Perfections over seven furlongs.

Partnered by Ioritz Mendizabal the filly made every post a winning one to land the Listed contest by three quarters of a length and a half from Khadima and Sheistheboss.

Her victory was a further advertisement for Havana Gold as, having won on her debut from the subsequently Listed placed Savanna La Mar, she was readily put in her place by Richard Hannon's colt at Ascot last Friday.
