Roger Charlton is planning a return visit to Deauville with Cityscape in a fortnight's time.
The well-travelled six-year-old won by far the biggest prize of his career in the spring when streaking clear in the Dubai Duty Free but seemingly failed to stay a mile and a quarter when upped in trip for the Coral-Eclipse.
"Cityscape runs in the Prix Jacques le Marois (August 12)," said Charlton.
The chestnut ran well in last year's renewal of the race until weakening to eighth in the closing stages behind Immortal Verse.
Charlton has also identified a possible target for Lady Rothschild's Thistle Bird, who won her second consecutive Listed race at Ascot on Friday.
Speaking on www.rogercharlton.com, the Beckhampton trainer said: "She is unlikely to run in the Nassau Stakes on Saturday, but there is a Group Three fillies' race at Sandown later in August which might suit her."
