Libranno: Substitutes for Strong Suit

Strong Suit will not bid for a repeat success in Tuesday's Bet365 Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Trainer Richard Hannon scratched the four-year-old from the seven-furlong Group Two.

Last year's winner of the Group Two was in contention for a repeat victory but also holds entries in Wednesday's Qipco Sussex Stakes and connections explained last week his big summer target is the Prix Maurice de Gheest in Deauville.

Hannon still has Libranno, a winner of his two most recent starts, among the seven remaining runners while Bryan Smart has declared Foxtrot Romeo, who was second in the Irish 2000 Guineas and sixth in the St James's Palace Stakes.

The other starters are Windsor Forest runner-up Chachamaidee, top-class handicapper Edinburgh Knight, Firebeam, Mac Love and Majestic Myles.
