Newton Abbot: Racing on Sunday

Newton Abbot: Racing on Sunday

Racing at Newton Abbot goes ahead after the track passed a raceday inspection.

Following an inspection on Saturday, a second check had been called for this morning, but that was able to be brought forward after a warm and dry day.

The first event on a scheduled eight-race card is due off at 1.40pm, with the Listed Lord Mildmay Memorial Handicap Chase featuring at 3.40pm.

The going is soft, heavy in places.
