Furner's Green recorded a workmanlike success in the Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial Stakes.
The winner (4-6 fav) was completing a quickfire double for trainer Aidan O'Brien and his son Joseph following the victory of Forester in the opening contest, but only got on top of Akeed Wafi in the final 100 yards.
John Oxx's colt (7-4) finished second, ahead of the front-running Vault who acted as a pacemaker for his stablemate winner.
Jim Bolger's newcomer Tiger At Heart missed the break and never looked like featuring.
"We're delighted with that. He's come on a lot for his first run when he got a bit tired. He travels well and quickens well," said the Ballydoyle trainer.
"We always had him down as a Guineas/French Derby horse but which Guineas we don't know yet."
