Richard Hannon's Producer ran out an easy winner of the Investec Surrey Stakes at Epsom.
Richard Hughes was quick to edge his mount across from his wide draw and hold down a prominent racing position behind the front-running Balty Boys.
The first two moved comfortably throughout the early exchanges of the seven furlong contest with morning gamble Justineo held up in rear as the order barely changed.
The Dutch Art colt, who completed a hat-trick at this track as a juvenile, took a few strides to pick up the leader when asked to go about his work by Hughes.
However, once he'd got into full stride he quickly stretched clear of his rivals to put the Listed race to bed in a matter of strides.
There was a bunch finish for the minor places with Justineo picking up late on to edge out Lady Gorgeous, Lunar Deity and Balty Boys but Hughes had long since eased his mount down with the winning margin three and three quarter lengths.
"He did it really well," said the trainer's son, Richard Hannon jnr.
"He never looked like getting beat and he obviously loves it here.
"I thought he'd probably want to go further but he's got loads of speed.
"He's in the Britannia and we'll also look at the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot."
