Verdict

Each of these has run within the last five days with Perlachy and Suddenly Susan carrying penalties for victories. The former is in cracking form but it's a long time since he ran off a mark this high while Scott Dixon's filly is probably better at Southwell and she's held by Steelcut on their previous effort here. ABSA LUTTE finished strongly behind Perlachy on Friday and, as she's on a 2lb lower mark and has the assistance of a 7lb claimer, she gets the vote in an open event.
