Verdict

BENEATH has just the one win to his name but will be winning soon off his current mark judged on his recent improved form. He's finished third on his last couple of starts here and gets the vote. Most of the opposition are searching for some consistency including December's Lingfield winner Resplendent Alpha and course winner Ashgrove Nell, who were both well beaten on their latest starts, while Ice Cold Bex and Hilbre Court have failed to step up on earlier placed efforts. Flying Applause was runner-up here in November and should be thereabouts again off a lower mark today.
