Verdict

Previous winners Lataradud, Trozulon and Valdez all return from a break here but there are possibilities about Wincanton second Admiral Boom and Dorset Naga has already been placed in bumpers at Bangor and Taunton. FIRE CHIEF was easy to back on his debut over 1m5f at Lingfield but, having been prominent throughout, kept on well in the closing stages to finish runner-up to Juhd. Clearly effective on Polytrack, the four-year-old can go one better here with Just Sixty and Midnight Mustang probably the pick of the newcomers.
