Verdict

Staying chaser Ballyfoy could play a part in first-time blinkers as the ground is in his favour, though it will be a surprise if he has the speed to cope with DANANDY over this trip. Philip Hobbs' gelding, already successful in a point-to-point and a bumper, was beaten less than two lengths by Low Gales on his hurdling debut at Ludlow and can only improve. Prime Location stepped up on his first run over timber to finish fourth at Folkestone and has place claims while Society Shares went close at Ffos Las on his latest start and should be able to find a similar race before the season ends.
