Verdict

Pretty Happy will have been anything but after her rider received a caution for excessive use of the whip when touched off by Red Memo here last month. She's still on a lenient mark but a hurdles record of one win from 28 starts is off-putting. Starling Lady did a bit better at Thurles last time but she is looking a few pounds high at present. Narima is another who looks as though she could do with a drop in the ratings while the consistent Gentle Noel hasn't run since September 2010. It was a poor handicap that KNOCKMEHILL LADY won at Fairyhouse but at least she showed herself in good shape and a 5lb rise shouldn't be enough to prevent a follow-up.
