Verdict

No three-year-old has won this in four renewals but that shouldn't rule out Danequest and Foot Soldier, who both had decent juvenile form and are fit from recent runs on Polytrack. The latter is proven on soft ground and should go well here while the lightly-raced Cnocan Diva should have more to give after a pleasing handicap debut at Navan in October. Liberty To Rock has never won in 21 starts on turf so the vote goes to the veteran TOUFAN EXPRESS, whose last victory came over a slightly shorter trip here in September from a 1lb higher mark. He is fit from a run in the Irish Lincolnshire on Sunday.
