Verdict

Cousin Khee looked a decent prospect when landing a novices' event at Huntingdon and was well in touch for most of the way before fading at Sandown. Saltagioo will love the fast conditions as he did when just touched off over the C&D in September. He'll be better for his reappearance and can go well but TRIP THE LIGHT looks the one to be on. He was beaten a nose at Towcester a couple of weeks ago but went one better at Uttoxeter two days later and a 5lb rise doesn't look excessive. Rumble Of Thunder was in superb form last autumn but his handicap mark suffered as a consequence so the main threat could come from Praxiteles, a real fast ground performer who followed his victory here last May by winning twice on the Flat.
