Verdict

Ty Gwr is the only one of these to have raced this year and, though he's expected to take care of Bridgehampton and the newcomer July Specialists, he has plenty to find with the remaining pair. Gunner Will showed some promise despite never looking like winning in four starts last season and a bold bid is expected from him, but SILVER BLAZE went very close at Newcastle in October with a couple of subsequent winners behind and Alan Swinbank's charge gets the nod on his reappearance.
