Verdict

FLUCTUATE finished a place ahead of a more strongly fancied stablemate when third in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket earlier this month. He'll be a warm order in this company on that evidence and can open his account. Idyllic Star and Mighty Motive are similar in that both were well beaten last time having shown a glimpse of promise on their debuts but Bridgehampton may have had a legitimate excuse for his recent poor effort as he looked ill at ease on the Fibresand at Southwell. Voodoo is related to a winner in France and is worth a second glance in the betting on his debut.
