Verdict

GOLDSTORM has returned to action an improved filly and scored with a bit to spare over C&D last Thursday. She can defy a 6lb penalty today with more to come from her. Join Up has won four times at this track and is on a winning mark if finding his best while Lean Machine went close over a longer trip here a fortnight ago, with Nicholas Pocock well behind, but his poor strike is off-putting. The remainder are even harder to fancy with Deslaya looking the best of a modest bunch.
