Verdict

There's a rare Ballydoyle entry at the foot of a handicap in Noah Webster, who has shown nothing so far and makes his handicap debut from a lowly mark. Equity Swap started favourite for a handicap at Dundalk last time and didn't run badly but this will be his first start on turf. Shamooda ran in three decent maidens last summer but the assessor has taken no chances while Asteroid Belt didn't run badly on his first start over this trip at Leopardstown and is on the short-list. Hartside wasn't far behind that day and first-time blinkers should wake him up but in a poor contest a chance is taken with MAD FOR ROAD. He showed nothing in three maidens last summer but was always likely to do better in his second term being a son of Galileo out of a 1m2f winner so he can take advantage of his selling plater's handicap mark.
