Verdict

COACH MONTANA won a seller here in September and was fancied to make a winning reappearance at Warwick but looked very one-paced. However, this is a poor handicap and he gets the vote to complete the double. Smart Affair also dropped to plating level to score at Southwell and though that was his best run to date he'll need to improve again. Vexillum was always in the firing line on soft ground at Nottingham but plodded on inside the last couple of furlongs while Ruby Glass has to carry top weight on his handicap debut after three moderate efforts on Polytrack. It's hard to get enthusiastic about the chances of the well-bred Teacher, who has been beaten a long way on all starts.
