Verdict

Twice Over, dual winner of the Champion Stakes and successful in last year's Juddmonte International at York, will be all the better for his run behind Questioning in a Group 3 at Newmarket nine days ago. He won the Coral-Eclipse over C&D in 2010 and is the clear form pick but he's never raced on really heavy ground before. We'll take him on with POET, who is a real mud lark and was clearly in need of the run when last of six on his reappearance at Longchamp. Ryan Moore will have him at the sharp end from the outset here and he may stay on too strongly for his rivals. There should be more to come from Al Kazeem and Colombian this year, while Hunter's Light won four times last year and looks the pick of the Godolphin pair. Sri Putra often runs well in this grade but is on a long losing run.
