Verdict

KASHGAR showed promise on his debut at Yarmouth last month when third behind subsequent handicap winner Samba King over today's trip. That outing may just give him the edge with his main rivals who are all making their seasonal debuts. Commitment looks one to keep an eye on as he finished fourth over a mile in soft ground at Yarmouth in October and the Motivator colt will relish the longer trip, as will Cayuga. The latter made a very modest debut over 7f at Newmarket but may still prove better than stablemate Plastiki. Finity Run is less certain to appreciate the extra distance but it shouldn't be an excuse for newcomer Swnymor whose dam won over 1m3f.
