Verdict

LORD OF THE STORM was making his seasonal debut when beating the race-fit Byrd In Hand over C&D last week. The latter is better off at the weights today but never looked catching the winner and Bill Turner's charge can go in again. The remainder are all hard to fancy as today's trip may stretch Mcconnell's stamina and Phluke ran shockers either side of winning at Redcar in October. Fonterutoli and Disturbia both have bits of form, if going back far enough, that would give them a chance.
