Verdict

Joshua The First was winning his first race in 14 starts when scoring over C&D last month. He'll need to improve again off a higher mark to confirm superiority with runner-up Alkadi, though Daddy Warbucks finished six lengths behind and may struggle again. La Salida made a winning debut at Hamilton last June and may figure stepping up a furlong while HALF A BILLION also tries 7f for the first time. He's been in winning form at Southwell recently when giving the impression today's longer trip would suit and gets the vote dropping down a grade.
