Verdict

Confident Club is bred for speed and, though not showing much in two starts over a mile at Dundalk, this trip and ground could bring about major improvement. However, all known form points to this being between Srucahan and DANZIGER. The former has shown easily his best form on ground with plenty of give as he did when runner-up to Royal Visit over 6f at Naas last month. He's definitely ready to win soon and this could be his day but the latter may have his measure. Dermot Weld's filly, beaten less than two lengths behind the very useful Fire Lily on soft ground at Navan last April, hasn't been seen for a year but has the potential to be a decent sprinter this campaign and can return with her first victory.
