Verdict

CHICAGO was probably a bit disappointing when only runner-up to Macbeth at Gowran three weeks ago but time may tell that the winner is useful. That was over 1m4f and the drop back in trip should be no problem to the son of Montjeu as he was travelling well for most of the journey. Miss Dylan made her racecourse debut in a Group 3 last July and showed potential behind the high-class Maybe. She hasn't come anywhere near that form in two subsequent starts and is best watched for now. Casual Creeper gradually progressed in his first campaign and should do so again this season while Moonshed is out of a German 1000 Guineas winner Ebalviyra, whose dam is from a brilliant family of middle-distance performers. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly Rockzanda is another newcomer to note.
