Verdict

EMILY CARR could prove the safest option as she went very close in soft ground at Haydock on last month's racecourse debut. That looks stronger form than Sheikhzayedroad and Border Bandit's latest efforts, though Shuja finished a creditable fourth on his introduction only to disappoint over a longer trip last time. Warcrown also let down favourite backers when failing to land the odds at Newcastle in August and has his first outing since while jockey bookings point toward the newcomer In The Crowd as the best of Alan Swinbank's trio.
